The IIT Alumni Association of North Texas has formed the ‘IIT Entrepreneur Advisor Network’ (IITEAN) made up of IIT alums and non-alums. Our vision is to bring together the exceptional talent and experience of this group to assist entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, and startup job seekers, thus providing opportunities to contribute and develop valuable relationships.
We are hosting an event to bring together Advisors, Investors and Entrepreneurs on Sept 22nd at UT Dallas at 1pm. The idea is for the alumni group to support local startups and entrepreneurs with advice and mentoring. The mentors will help startups develop an investor pitch deck, acquire their first customer and support fundraising activities. For existing companies, the mentors can provide support in functional areas, including Marketing, Finance & Accounting, and Operations & Supply Chain. At the event, startups will pitch their idea and needs. Based on their needs we will strive to match them with advisors, investors and others to further their goals. The event features investor groups such as North Texas Angel Network, Revtech and others, along with a technical talk on a key emerging technology.
